Qualifications

Job Title: Teaching and Management Trainer, Milton Keynes

  • Location: Milton Keynes
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Working Pattern: Home-based with regional travel for learner observations and 1:1 coaching
  • Salary: £29,400 – £33,600 per annum + annual performance bonus
  • Leave: 28 days annual leave + bank holidays (rising to 33 with service)

Role Responsibilities
  1. Conduct initial assessments and create tailored learning plans
  2. Deliver engaging training sessions (virtual and in-person) covering Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours
  3. Guide on safeguarding, British Values, Prevent, and career development
  4. Monitor learner progress and support timely achievement of portfolios and qualifications
  5. Deliver or support Functional Skills (Maths and English)
  6. Collaborate with employers to support workplace learning
  7. Identify and support Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
  8. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance reporting
  9. Promote online safety, mental health awareness, and career development
  10. Engage in CPD and standardisation activities to stay current
Candidate Requirements
  • Recognised teaching qualification (ideally Level 5 or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Teacher, TA, or Education Manager
  • Proven performance management skills
  • Level 2 (or above) qualifications in Maths and English
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeships and the education sector
  • Digital proficiency with ePortfolios and IT systems
  • Full UK Driving license and access to a vehicle
