Key Skills Required for this Role

Important:

Our client, one of the leading defense companies in the UK, is looking for a Project Manager - Delivery to join their team on a contract basis.

The Role:

• Managing product management and planning of contracts for the David Brown Team.
• Planning improvement activities.
• Leading improvement initiatives.
• Identifying key performance metrics.
• Coordinating and leading daily governance of day-to-day work.
• Overseeing activities of the product leads.
• Analyzing overall gearbox performance.
• Creating baseline plans and applying project management principles, including budgets and achievements.
• Discussing commercial and financial issues confidently.
• Accountable for the budget, performance, and results of the team.
• Ensuring essential procedures are followed based on your knowledge of Project Management. (GG13 may formulate policies within your area; GG14 would influence strategy development, resource control, and policy formulation.)

Skills:

• Experience working within a product environment.
• Extensive knowledge of Project Management tools, techniques, and practices, with basic knowledge of Commercial & Finance functions.
• Ability to resolve and guide others in solving complex project-related issues, following established procedures.
• Understanding of the business environment relevant to your project and team.
• Recognition as an experienced Project Management practitioner.
