GSL Education are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and nurturing KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming school community in Barton. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging, imaginative, and supportive lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence in young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver imaginative and stimulating lessons that meet the needs of KS1 learners.
• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels supported, respected, and motivated.
• Promote early skills in reading, writing, maths, and social development using age-appropriate approaches.
• Collaborate effectively with support staff and leadership to ensure pupils’ individual needs are addressed.
• Monitor student achievement, adapting teaching strategies and offering constructive feedback.
• Communicate regularly with families and carers to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
• Inspire curiosity and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning through creative and hands-on teaching.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience working within the classroom or specialisation in KS1 curriculum.
• A creative and engaging approach to teaching.
• Strong behaviour management skills and classroom presence.
• Commitment to student development, well-being, and safeguarding.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
• Competitive daily rates of £130 - £180 (dependent on experience).
