35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (Flexibility on hours can be discussed).

The successful Buyer will need buying/purchasing in a manufacturing or similar environment. Holding a CIPS qualification or working towards is advantageous.
In this role you will be responsible for annual spend of around A£65m including raw materials, packaging, finished products and A£5m indirect spend. You will ensure raw materials and packaging purchase orders meet manufacturing and customer timelines.

The Buyer Role:
* The department is responsible for A£65m annual spend on raw materials, packaging, and finished products and A£5m indirect spend
* Daily management of raw material and packaging purchase orders
* Analysis of MRP information
* Updating purchasing and supplier information records
* Analysis of vendor performance
* Communicating with all relevant colleagues
* Ensure product quality and lead times
The Successful Buyer:
* Buying/purchasing experience in a manufacturing/technical setting.
* Strong administrative skills, particularly using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ideally CIPS qualified or working towards.
