A GBP 35,000 DOE + 1:2 Days Hybrid (once fully trained) + 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Auto Enrolment Pension + Annual Bonus + Parking + Discounted Medical Cover + Training Opportunities

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (Flexibility on hours can be discussed).

In this role, you will be responsible for an annual spend of around GBP 65m, including raw materials, packaging, finished products, and GBP 5m indirect spend. You will ensure raw materials and packaging purchase orders meet manufacturing and customer timelines.

The Buyer Role

• The department is responsible for GBP 65m annual spend on raw materials, packaging, and finished products, and GBP 5m indirect spend.
• Daily management of raw material and packaging purchase orders.
• Analysis of MRP information.

• Analysis of vendor performance.
• Communicating with all relevant colleagues.
• Ensuring product quality and lead times.

The Successful Buyer

• Buying/purchasing experience in a manufacturing/technical setting.
• Strong administrative skills, particularly using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ideally CIPS qualified or working towards it.
