Qualifications

Equans Project Coordinator Role at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh

Equans is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

We seek a proactive, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our Hard Services Projects team. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will provide administrative, financial, and operational support to ensure the successful delivery of Lifecycle and Variations projects, maintaining our standards of excellence, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Assist Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  2. Maintain comprehensive project files, ensuring all documentation complies with ISO accreditation and CDM regulations.
  3. Generate and manage monthly client invoices, including material and subcontractor costs, following finance policies.
  4. Provide accurate management information to support decision-making.
  5. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients for seamless service delivery and communication.
  6. Oversee delivery of maintenance and operational manuals, updating asset lists and data sheets.
  7. Support the production of annual lifecycle plans and project review meetings to improve project management practices.

Candidate requirements:
  • GCSEs in English & Maths (A-C) or NVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject
  • Experience in facilities management or project coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Coupa, SAP, BI Launchpad, Maximo is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK driving license

Hold IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS certification. Supervisory experience is advantageous.
