Job Description:

Archer Resourcing has a great new opportunity for a Community Psychiatric Nurse to join the team in the West Midlands.

If you are committed to delivering high-quality integrated health and social care, then this could be the role for you. As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will visit patients outside of the hospital environment, providing individualised practical advice and support to help them overcome problems. Although challenging at times, this role can be extremely rewarding as you make a positive difference in someone's life.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting patients with mental health conditions through recovery and support activities
• Educating the local community on mental health issues
• Understanding mental health signs and symptoms, and supporting and teaching junior staff to develop their understanding
• Recognising and responding to challenging behaviour in line with Trust policies and training
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty safeguards
• Communicating effectively with patients, carers, families, and friends

Requirements:

• Relevant degree
• At least 2 years of experience as a CPN/RMN in the UK
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months, preferably on the update service
• Active NMC registration
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
