Job Description

My client is the Lake District's leading independent supplier of fresh produce, chilled and frozen food, dry goods, cleaning products, and catering accessories. Established since 1969, they are seeking a Product Content / IT Technician to join their team based in Embleton, Cumbria. The successful candidate will report to the Design and Marketing Manager.

Position Overview

1. Update, manage, and enrich product data across 2 websites for over 20,000 products.
2. Manage all new and existing products daily.
3. Ensure all product data is correctly set up and maintained.
4. Support daily IT operations, including network issues, onboarding new employees, and system error troubleshooting.
5. Maintain ERP product data (name and description).
6. Maintain marketing data and technical information.
7. Monitor and update product data using Microsoft Excel, Akeneo, Erudus, Bottlebooks, and Magento 2.
8. Assist contractors on IT projects.
9. Serve as the on-site contact for IT contractors.

Position Requirements

• Experience in an IT support role.
• Networking experience.
• Active Directory and Group Policy management skills.
• Valid driving license.
• Experience with product data management (advantageous).

Position Remuneration

• Monday to Friday schedule.
• Salary: £25,000 – £30,000, depending on experience.
• Pension scheme.
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
