To provide dedicated support ensuring investigative staff have access to appropriate equipment and exhibits are handled correctly and in a forensic manner. Support Visual Evidence investigations involving digital storage devices, enabling the unit to lead in forensic Visual Evidence Practice.
All activities will comply with the Quality Standards Framework (ISO 17020, ISO 17025, ILAC-G19, and the Forensic Science Regulators Codes of Practice and Conduct).
This role involves extensive travel across the Force and potential relocation to another laboratory location in line with staff policies.
