Shift patterns: Mon-Wed nights 19:30 - 07:00, Thu 19:30 - 03:00

About the Role

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a First Line Manager to coordinate our daily logistics requirements. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrable understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage a safe operation and promote a Safety-First Culture by applying and improving Safety Standards.
2. Implement Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) programs daily to monitor behaviors and processes.
3. Conduct incident investigations and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
4. Identify and mitigate health and safety risks within the area.
5. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) are up to date and followed.
6. Act as a secondary contact for customer site operation matters and foster strong relationships.
7. Review operational performance and KPIs regularly with the shift manager.
8. Manage daily operations to meet commitments to customers and internal processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 12 months warehouse operations experience.
• Experience in team management.
• Sustainability & Health and Safety awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a passion for excellence and right-first-time approach.

Successful candidates will undergo a basic Access NI check. A criminal record does not necessarily disqualify applicants.
