Qualifications

Job Opportunity: Quality Control Inspector

Our client, a long-established manufacturing company based in the Medway Towns, is currently recruiting a Permanent Quality Control Inspector.

Working with the Quality Control team, you will report to the Quality Control Manager and be responsible for monitoring, measurement, analysis, customer complaint investigations, and process improvements to ensure products meet high standards. You will also conduct regular internal audits.

Working hours: 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 3.30pm on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring quality during production, raising and documenting issues
2. Monitoring the production floor for other issues, reporting as necessary
3. Auditing pallets prior to dispatch to ensure conformity with specifications and customer requirements
4. Investigating customer complaints and assisting with corrective and preventive actions
5. Issuing lessons learned and conducting toolbox talks as needed
6. Arranging and conducting meetings to report initiatives, problems, KPIs, and customer feedback
7. Auditing print and conversion first-offs according to company procedures
8. Participating in continuous improvement projects
9. Assisting with risk assessments as required
10. Representing the company to maintain good relations internally and externally

Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in a production environment, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team and under pressure, with an organized and efficient work approach.
