Job summary

As a practice nurse at Haven Health, you will play a vital role in delivering primary care services to our diverse patient population. You will work autonomously while being fully supported by a well-established team. The practice prioritises patient care but fosters a fun, supportive environment. We value flexibility and are looking for 20-25 hours per week, with some adaptability for training, holiday cover, and occasional colleague absences.

Main duties of the job:

• Chronic disease management, particularly respiratory
• Childhood and adult immunisations
• Wound care and dressings
• Health promotion and patient education
• Cervical cytology screening

Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing general and specific health assessments and screenings, with referrals to GPs as necessary
• Advising patients on health and minor ailments, with referrals as needed
• Administering nursing treatments in collaboration with GPs or independently per protocols
• Maintaining accurate records to ensure continuity and safety of care
• Contributing to the development of work practices within policy guidelines
