Role Overview

Following a successful year, we are expanding and seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Scientific Supplies and Life Science division. You will manage the full recruitment cycle for clients across the UK, Europe, and North America, focusing on mid to senior-level roles, with results-driven, uncapped commissions.

Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of successful permanent recruitment experience in scientific, medical devices, technical, professional, or engineering sectors.
• Passion for sales, business development, and recruitment.
• Strong sales record and drive to succeed.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to generate leads, manage full recruitment cycles, and deliver fee generation.

Responsibilities

Client Side

• Source vacancies via internet, social media, conferences, and events.
• Negotiate Terms of Business, set timelines, and milestones to fill roles and generate revenue.
• Engage existing clients and contacts in Scientific Supplies, Laboratory, or Life Science sectors, as well as new decision-makers, via phone or Teams.
• Create job adverts for company website and portals.
• Network to source new vacancies and secure appointments.
• Develop leads into revenue opportunities through social media and networking.
• Conduct job briefings with clients to convert into live roles and fees.
• Attend client meetings, both virtual and face-to-face, to build relationships and secure new business.
• Maintain CRM database with client details.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to expand business opportunities.

Candidate/Resourcing Side

• Source and select candidates using online portals and direct approaches.
• Network with industry contacts to find suitable candidates.
• Assess candidates to match skills with vacancies.
• Use social media and databases to find candidates.
• Interview and profile candidates for specific roles.
• Coordinate interviews with clients.
• Negotiate offers and start dates.
• Maintain candidate and client records.
• Handle administrative tasks such as interview confirmations and CV formatting.

This is a full-time, permanent role, flexible between office-based and hybrid/WFH arrangements, Monday to Friday. We value work/life balance. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, with a valid driver’s license and passport, and no travel restrictions.

Full training on our CRM and recruitment methodology will be provided, along with ongoing mentorship to support your success as a Senior 360 Recruitment Consultant.
