Join us as a Configuration Management Infrastructure Analyst

• Hone your analytical skills by supporting the operational health of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and related processes, covering service, risk, cost, and people aspects.
• Support the CMDB, including maintaining system utilities and tools provided by the platform.

What you'll do

As a Configuration Management Infrastructure Analyst, you’ll support activities to maintain CMDB integrity and handle change demands from various domains or centers of excellence. You’ll contribute to delivering a robust service management platform and support the delivery of customer outcomes, innovation, and early testing of products and services.

Your role will involve:

• Contributing to platform risk management by discussing and understanding risks at every step and collaborating to mitigate them.
• Planning and executing work within the platform, handling feature development requests, and supporting regulatory reporting.
• Seeking opportunities to simplify architecture, services, and customer solutions, avoiding unnecessary complexity.
• Building relationships with platform, domain, and cross-domain stakeholders.
• Ensuring controls are applied and reviewed regularly, primarily against SOX, to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

The skills you'll need

To succeed, you should be a capable communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly, including to management. A background in Agile or DevOps environments with continuous delivery and integration is essential. An ITIL V3 Foundation or higher certification is required.

Additional skills include:

• Experience in a Configuration Management (CfM) or Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) team.
• Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience leading solutions from inception to implementation.
• Experience working in large enterprise organizations.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
