You will work cross-functionally with commercial, manufacturing, R&D, and finance teams to provide insights that improve cost performance, track key operational metrics, and drive continuous improvements in cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed cost analysis across global sites to identify key cost drivers, track variances, and provide data-driven recommendations for cost control.
  • Partner with operations teams to support budget forecasts, cost estimates, and financial reporting.
  • Analyse labour efficiency, material usage, and overhead costs to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Support the implementation of cost-reduction initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

2. Operational Performance & KPI Tracking

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost efficiency, production output, and resource utilisation.
  • Provide leadership with real-time insights and reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure consistency in data collection and reporting methodologies across global sites.

3. Process Improvement & Operational Support

  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve resource allocation.
  • Work closely with manufacturing sites to track production efficiency and yield performance, ensuring alignment with cost targets.
  • Support the implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance cost efficiency.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Support

  • Act as a key liaison between global manufacturing sites, finance, commercial, and R&D teams to align cost management strategies.
  • Work with regional teams to ensure alignment on financial targets and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management, ensuring clear communication of cost management strategies.
