We are a vibrant, fast-paced food manufacturer employing around 13,600 colleagues across 16 manufacturing units and 17 distribution depots nationwide. Our products range from sandwiches, soups, and sushi to cooking sauces, pickles, and ready meals. In FY23, we generated revenues of £1.9bn.

Our extensive direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising 17 depots, enables over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce, as well as third-party goods.

The MBE Programme offers a significant opportunity for technology colleagues to contribute to a major digital transformation within a FTSE 250 company. You will be involved in problem-solving, impact assessment, and supporting future-proofing initiatives.

Your role will include implementing, enhancing, and supporting business processes through IT systems, collaborating with stakeholders to define scope and gather requirements.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Align project requirements with available functionalities using best practices
  2. Create detailed documentation and technical specifications
  3. Coordinate technical tasks with colleagues and consultants
  4. Obtain stakeholder approval for projects
  5. Present solutions and clarify roles and responsibilities to stakeholders and users
  6. Lead user acceptance testing and implement necessary adjustments
  7. Oversee ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Manufacturing) and additional software
  8. Translate project requirements into efficient business processes within ERP and integrated systems
  9. Manage IT activities from initiation to post-implementation support
  10. Lead project management for specific initiatives based on stakeholder needs and skills
  11. Provide documentation, training, audits, and ongoing support
