We at Interaction Recruitment are working on behalf of our national client in the Logistics & Transport industry, a pioneer in their field for over 50 years.

Location:

Wakefield Area

Hours:

Sunday to Thursday days

Salary:

£35,000

Reporting to:

Transport Manager

Role Overview:

They are looking for someone to join their transport planning team, delivering effective and excellent support to internal departments, drivers, customers, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organise and plan collections and deliveries in a professional and confident manner.
2. Understand UK driving regulations and operator licensing requirements.
3. Be aware of health and safety regulations, including driver working hours and tachograph knowledge.
4. Be well-organized, able to prioritize workloads, and communicate effectively with drivers regarding re-routing, deliveries, and collections.
5. Complete internal and external documents, transport movement orders, and driver documentation.
