Position Details

Type: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £34,000 plus a commercial vehicle and fuel card

About the Role

As a Plumber at our Tannochside branch, you will be part of the repairs and maintenance team working within tenanted properties. Your responsibilities will include undertaking high-standard plumbing repairs and refurbishment activities, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards are met. The role involves managing tasks electronically via a handheld device (PDA), including worksheets, timesheets, work photos, van stock management, leave bookings, vehicle inspections, safeguarding issues, and risk assessments. You will utilize existing stock or collect materials as needed, following standard operating procedures for purchasing and stock control.

Role Criteria

• City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Plumbing
• Experience in a plumbing trade environment
• Full, current UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Note: All roles are subject to DBS/Security checks prior to employment. To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held their licence for over 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.
