DATA STRATEGY ACCOUNT MANAGER – 12 MONTH FTC

LONDON – 4 DAYS A WEEK

This client is an award-winning integrated communications agency specialising in brand strategy, creative advertising, social and content marketing, customer experience, CRM, brand identity, and integrated campaigns. Renowned for emotionally intelligent storytelling and strong commercial results, their work often sparks public conversation. With a client roster that includes leading global brands across both retained and project-based partnerships, they are a recognised name at major industry awards.

THE ROLE

This role sits at the intersection of data, clients, and campaigns, helping to drive both agency and client progress. The focus is on interpreting insights and making strategic recommendations, with around 60% of work dedicated to a major automotive client and 40% across a variety of other brands. Responsibilities include insight generation, campaign effectiveness analysis, and stitching together data into compelling stories for stakeholders. The work is fast-paced, often supporting performance marketing and quick-turnaround campaigns. Technical skills in Power BI are useful, with a focus on using cleaned data to create insightful reports and impactful slide decks.

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

  • Highly confident and engaging in client-facing roles, particularly with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage, direct, advise, and push back effectively when needed
  • Data-agnostic with advanced Excel skills (Excel "wizard")
  • Experience as a Data Strategist within performance marketing (preferred)
  • CRM Strategist or Creative Strategist background acceptable if highly data-driven
  • Strong agency background with experience handling large, demanding clients
