This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and talented communications professional to join our busy and high-performing Communications Team at Swindon Borough Council. Our team was shortlisted for three communication awards in the 2023 CIPR Pride Awards.
We seek a talented communications professional capable of producing effective and engaging content to support Council priorities.
This role will significantly contribute to managing internal communications related to a major transformation programme aimed at maximizing outcomes for residents and value for money.
You will also be involved in delivering a range of external and internal communications to support Council priorities. This includes planning, delivering, and evaluating communication activities across media relations, social media, newsletters, website, intranet, and other channels.
Excellent writing, project management skills, and attention to detail are essential. You should be able to build strong relationships with a wide range of people at all levels across the organization. You will join an ambitious, friendly team committed to continuous improvement and professional development.
