Position:

Location: Remote (with in-person learner observations across Somerset and Devon)

Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience

Role Overview:

We are expanding our team of Personal Tutors (PTs) to support learners on Health and Social Care Level 4 and 5 qualifications. As a PT, you will provide exceptional teaching, foster learner progression, and ensure high-quality education through our Elevate programme.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engage, motivate, and inspire learners to achieve their qualifications.
2. Deliver innovative, tailored teaching and learning.
3. Manage a diverse caseload of learners across HSC Levels 2-3, including visits, observations, and reviews.
4. Provide feedback to support professional development and learner potential.
5. Build strong relationships with employer partners.
6. Promote the use of Elevate Workshops for learner success.
7. Monitor learner progress using our Learning Management System (BUD).
8. Collaborate with Learning Support for learners needing Functional Skills or Additional Learning Support.
9. Provide detailed feedback after reviews and observations.
10. Adhere to GDPR and data security protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, D32, A1, V1).
2. Teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS, etc.).
3. Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care.
4. Proven experience in outstanding teaching and learning.
5. Experience managing a diverse learner caseload.
6. Understanding of End-Point Assessment (EPA).
7. Access to a car for travel to learner observations, 1:1s, and meetings.
