Our client, a well-established, award-winning architectural practice with multiple offices, is seeking a talented Senior Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with their Glasgow office. Architectural Technologists based in Edinburgh are also encouraged to apply, as multiple sites and projects are based here. This role is suitable for ambitious Architectural Technologists seeking a career progression.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Senior Architectural Technologist who enjoys assembling buildings and has strong experience across all RIBA Stages and technical delivery skills. The initial focus will be on high-quality residential projects, with opportunities to work across a diverse portfolio, including bespoke residential, commercial offices, refurbishments, new builds, defence, and MOD projects. Project values range from £5m to £30m, with larger developments up to £120m+.

Senior Architectural Technologist Job Overview

• Lead and manage projects through the technical RIBA stages.
• Produce high-quality technical drawings and models using Revit daily.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, maintaining strong communication and design intent throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, with potential to mentor and lead junior staff.
• Contribute to projects across residential (flats and bespoke housing), commercial, education, and defence sectors.

Senior Architectural Technologist Job Requirements

• Strong technical expertise and ability to deliver detailed packages through stages 3-5.
• Experience in Revit is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead projects independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in residential, commercial, and/or MOD projects is desirable.
• Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills.
• Live within a commutable distance of Edinburgh or Glasgow.
