Position Overview

Ithaca Energy is accepting applications for two Project Engineer positions, located in our Aberdeen Office.

Reporting to the Development Projects and Engineering Manager, the two Project Engineers will deliver quality and ensure consistency for all Subsea and/or Topside Engineering of the assigned Project, ensuring the highest technical and safety standards, focusing on value creation and project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Development Projects and Engineering Manager or Project Manager in Subsea and/or Topside Engineering activities throughout the Project lifecycle.
  • Develop project management and engineering deliverables from the Assess to the Execute Phase.
  • Input to functional and technical specifications.
  • Perform technical and commercial evaluation of tenders.
  • Provide technical and delivery assistance during detail engineering, construction, installation, hook-up and commissioning.
  • Oversee engineering teams and site supervisors.
  • Oversee engineering contractors.

Additionally, involve in:

  • Influencing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams for project completion, within the program, budget, and standards.
  • Identifying, managing, and maintaining visibility of risks and opportunities, with mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Maintaining formal records related to actions, decisions, technical queries, interfaces, change management, variation control, and project assurance.
  • Supporting technical evaluation of bids, proposals, and solutions.
  • Preparing project management deliverables as per company requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified at HNC level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proven track record in project coordination/engineering within offshore oil & gas capital projects.
  • Valid offshore survival and medical preferred.

Thorough understanding of:

  • HSEQ: safety analysis, PQP, HAZOP, HAZID, SIMOPS, Environmental studies.
  • Engineering, construction, inspection, expediting, installation, and QA/QC for onshore development.
  • ITTs: technical evaluation.

Basic understanding of:

  • Facilities design and analysis, wells, subsea and topsides facilities.
  • Project management: contracting, planning, budgeting, cost estimation, risk management.
  • ITTs: commercial and contractual evaluation.

Generic knowledge of:

  • Production operations, maintenance, D&C activities, logistics planning.
