Job description

We're seeking an experienced NHS data professional to lead the Data Quality & Assurance function within Health Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit and assure data used operationally and submitted nationally, ensuring accuracy and implementing improvements.
2. Manage known and potential data errors, providing routine updates to clinical divisions with a focus on performance improvement.
3. Lead a team responsible for ensuring data ingested and used for reporting is accurate, complete, and timely, in accordance with national guidance and standards.
4. Coordinate and manage data quality issues, working with external organizations and divisional staff to promote and improve data quality.
5. Develop an annual audit programme, assess data accuracy and completeness, and develop a data quality assurance framework.

Additional Information:

Our team is predominantly remote, supporting flexible working arrangements. On-site presence may be required for team meetings and stakeholder support.
