In-house Employment Solicitor – 3+ PQE

City of London

A well-regarded Legal 500 firm with a national presence is looking for an Employment Associate or Senior Associate to join their established in-house team. The firm has over 750 Solicitors and offers a comprehensive service, including several Tier 1 Teams.

This role provides the opportunity to work on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, supporting the firm's needs and fostering close client relationships. The firm offers strong support and a competitive salary, ideal for a private practice solicitor transitioning in-house or an in-house solicitor seeking progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing advice and handling non-contentious matters such as regulatory issues, pensions, exits, acquisitions, and other legal matters.
• Assisting with contentious matters, including tribunal cases.
• Supporting the General Counsel and contributing to team development.
• Reporting to senior management as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• UK-qualified solicitor with 3+ PQE from a reputable firm; candidates with different levels will be considered without an upper limit.
• Strong understanding of employment law, with experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters, capable of working independently.
• Excellent academic record, ideally with a 2:1 degree or above.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
