ABOUT THE JOB

Gunzilla Games is looking for a Senior Procedural Technical Artist to join us in working on OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Extraction Battle Royale shooter, currently available as Early Access on PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Our ideal candidate should have strong experience as a procedural technical artist in the game development industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with artists to create best practices and optimal workflows
  • Speed up the world-building while being able to adapt to artistic and project-requirements
  • Create developer-friendly tools
  • Streamline workflows by proactively finding solutions and by working with the production teams
  • Research and develop prototypes for art pipelines and help bring your coworkers' ideas to life
  • Mentoring of other team members

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good understanding of 3D modelling workflows
  • Expert knowledge of Houdini and the creation of Houdini Digital Assets
  • Working knowledge of Python and Houdini's Python API
  • Take ownership of tools that are memory efficient and performant
  • Provide clear solutions to complicated issues
  • Ability to think out-of-the-box to overcome technical challenges
  • Ability to self-direct, and be autonomous when required
  • Unreal PCG experience is a Plus
