Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant

Anchor has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at the Support Hub in Bradford.

Details:
  • Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 12 months fixed-term contract
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all received cash is allocated to customer accounts promptly
  • Raise and issue invoices to customers regularly and as needed
  • Monitor bank accounts daily and chase sundry debtors
  • Process weekly direct debit collections according to the timetable
  • Complete month-end processing as per schedule
  • Review and improve procedures regularly
Desired Knowledge & Experience:
  • Experience processing high volumes of income to customer accounts
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable functions and debt management
  • Understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties related to cash and payments
  • Familiarity with income allocation, cash, banking, payments, and invoicing policies
  • Experience working in a team within a transaction processing environment
  • Proficiency with computerized financial systems and spreadsheets
