Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant
Anchor has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at the Support Hub in Bradford.
Details:
- Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum, dependent on experience
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 12 months fixed-term contract
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all received cash is allocated to customer accounts promptly
- Raise and issue invoices to customers regularly and as needed
- Monitor bank accounts daily and chase sundry debtors
- Process weekly direct debit collections according to the timetable
- Complete month-end processing as per schedule
- Review and improve procedures regularly
Desired Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience processing high volumes of income to customer accounts
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable functions and debt management
- Understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties related to cash and payments
- Familiarity with income allocation, cash, banking, payments, and invoicing policies
- Experience working in a team within a transaction processing environment
- Proficiency with computerized financial systems and spreadsheets
