Salary - Rates of pay from £13.20ph to £13.62ph depending on store location


Hours of Work - 37.5 hours a week

About The Role

As a Team Leader at Hobbycraft, you will support the management team, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Working with the store manager to increase sales and profitability
  2. Promoting commercial awareness among staff
  3. Overseeing operations such as merchandising, goods in, warehouse, and duty management
  4. Coaching colleagues and managing workload
  5. Handling customer inquiries and managing click-and-collect orders
  6. Operating the till and managing transactions
  7. Supporting audits, health and safety protocols
  8. Opening and closing the store as a key holder
  9. Participating in disciplinary, grievance, and performance processes
  10. Acting as duty manager in the store manager’s absence
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 1 year of retail experience, managerial or supervisory experience is advantageous
  • A passion for sales and profit growth
  • Commercial awareness in retail
  • An interest in crafts and hobbies to inspire others
  • Ability to learn and share product knowledge
  • High enthusiasm, motivation, and confidence in communication
  • Flexibility to meet business needs
