Longspee Secondary is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Admin Assistant to join their busy team. The role requires excellent administration and organisational skills, with a focus on supporting students and staff in a specialist provision for autistic young people. The position offers strong career progression and a supportive work environment.
We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and resilient to join our fast-paced, busy Reception/Admin team.
Longspee Secondary is a Specialist Provision for autistic young people, some of whom may have associated SEMH needs. We offer a rich and high-quality learning experience for our students, with a relentless and positive focus on Happy, Safe, Progress to help ensure that our students can build and achieve a successful adult life.
To thrive in the role of Reception Admin Assistant, you will be resourceful, creative, highly resilient, and able to work well as part of a high-quality team. You will work closely with all Administration Team members and curriculum staff, offering support where needed. Excellent administration and organisational skills are essential, as is flexibility when required. The role involves using all Microsoft Office applications (including Excel), Arbor database, and other specific software used by the school (training will be provided).
The role involves regular contact with pupils, parents/carers, professionals, and outside agencies. Candidates need to possess a confident, calm, and polite manner to work under pressure, prioritise workload effectively, and support others as appropriate.
