Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy Community Midwifery team at Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

The successful candidate will support outpatient clinics, handle referrals, and provide clerical support to the team, ensuring a cohesive service across acute and community settings.

Applicants should have excellent clerical and computer skills, be organized, accurate, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a busy environment.

Work Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, 8-4pm (22.5 hours/week)

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital

Interview Date: 25th April 2025

Main Duties
  • Provide administrative support to Community Midwives, including handling calls, photocopying, filing, scanning, and typing, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Act as a point of contact for patients and staff regarding appointments.
  • Process new referrals using e-CAMIS and distribute documentation to ensure timely care.
