Permanent Accounts Assistant Job - Full-Time - South Nottinghamshire


Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers? If so, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:


General Ledger (Essential)

  1. Manage expense cost allocation journals
  2. Handle weekly payroll cost allocation journals
  3. Process credit card cost journals on the general ledger
  4. Provide information to external auditors
  5. Perform ad hoc administrative duties

Bank (Essential)

  1. Conduct daily bank reconciliations and report to the Group
  2. Reconcile bank statements weekly
  3. Consolidate Group cash flow forecasts

Purchase Ledger (Preferred)

  1. Process purchase invoices
  2. Set up new supplier accounts
  3. Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice queries
  4. Manage weekly payment of suppliers

Experience and Skills:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  2. Proficiency in Excel (essential)
  3. Familiarity with Word (preferred)
  4. Experience with software systems such as Coins (preferable) or equivalent
  5. AAT qualification

What We Offer:
