Consultant Ecologist

Location: Coventry (fully remote role)

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000

Pebble Recruitment is currently representing a well-established Environmental Consultancy, actively seeking an ambitious Ecologist to work remotely and join their growing team based in Coventry, Midlands.

The successful Ecologist will collaborate closely with the ecology team in Coventry/Midlands, assisting with protected species surveys. This role offers excellent career progression, exposure to diverse projects, and a focus on employee development.

Ecologist Position Overview

• Undertaking protected species surveys
• Assisting with tenders and quotations
• Producing technical reports (PEA, BNG, protected species reports, etc.) with senior support
• Managing small to medium-sized projects, and some large projects with assistance as needed

Position Requirements

• 2-3 years of industry experience
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
• One protected species license
• Full UK driving license
• Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and application
• Chartered status with the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) is desirable
