A leading healthcare organization in London is seeking a Finance Manager to provide financial management support to the Theatres & Anaesthesia Division. The role involves overseeing a significant budget and requires strong financial acumen and communication skills. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote work, and will manage an Assistant Management Accountant.

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the Surgery & Cancer Board.
The successful candidate will provide financial management support to the Theatres & Anaesthesia Division, which includes theatres & anaesthesia, medical physics, and sterile services, with a combined direct expenditure budget of approximately £76m and 760 WTE. The role also involves managing the Surgery & Cancer Board Division.
This position requires delivering financial support and advice to meet operational service needs and corporate deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should possess excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to build rapport with managers and clinicians, facilitating engagement and understanding of the financial position.
The post-holder will have line management responsibility for an Assistant Management Accountant and will report to the Senior Finance Manager.
This role involves hybrid working arrangements, including a requirement to work in the office two days per week.
