Platform Engineering Manager

Location: London (must be willing to be based at and travel to client sites throughout the UK)

2. Provide technical leadership by guiding onshore and offshore engineering teams during client projects.

Role specifics:

• Join our vibrant community of Platform Engineering professionals, focusing on DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, Observability, and Internal Developer Platforms, based in London on a full-time, permanent basis.

Required skills and experience:

• Understanding of Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Agile principles, and developer productivity enhancement.
• Cloud expertise, especially AWS; GCP and Azure are advantageous.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.
• Strategic and team leadership skills, managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
• Strong DevSecOps practices and security knowledge, including Zero Trust Architecture.
• Familiarity with SRE principles and incident management.
• Experience building internal developer portals/platforms.
