The Role

As an experienced plumber you will be involved in undertaking Legionella based plumbing work, maintenance and remedial activities across the UK.

You will be required to undertake SFG20 tasks including:

• Plumbing remedial work
• Clean and chlorination of tanks
• Chlorination of water systems
• TMV servicing including full servicing and fail-safe testing
• Calorifier inspections
• RPZ servicing

The role will involve extensive travel across the UK and the successful candidate must be flexible towards hours and working away from home (accommodation and meals are paid for by the company).

Role Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to hold a recognised NVQ/C&G plumbing qualification and have knowledge of Legionella Control (L8) and HSG274. They must also be competent in:

• Communicating verbally and in writing with the client when faults have been identified
• Producing detailed site observations based on current guidelines, legislation and best practice
• Working in a safe manner avoiding hazards to themselves, colleagues and clients
• Carrying out any other duty or work reasonably requested by the employer
• Working in safety critical client sites
• Completing service report sheets via a phone application
• Completing water monitoring log books and visit report sheets

The role requires the applicant to have:

• An enhanced DBS check and MoD background security check
• A full, clean driving licence
