Join a Growing Company as Head of HR

Liberty Recruitment Group is partnering exclusively with a client to recruit a Head of HR. This full-time, permanent role is based in Camden and offers a salary of circa £50k, depending on experience.

Reporting to a Regional Director, this role is highly varied, with no two days being the same.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Managing employee onboarding, orientation, and initial performance reviews.
  2. Supporting employees and managers on HR matters such as benefits, compensation, and employee relations.
  3. Meeting recruitment needs and developing strategies to improve retention.
  4. Managing employee performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  5. Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, including hiring practices, equal opportunity, and safety standards.
  6. Developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
  7. Maintaining accurate personnel records and ensuring timely updates.
  8. Facilitating employee development and training programs.
  9. Ensuring workplace health, safety, and security compliance.
Candidate Profile:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently are essential. A CIPD qualification is preferred, but relevant experience and knowledge of HR legislation, including Recruitment, Immigration, Disciplinary, Grievance, Capability, Working Time Directive, and Learning & Development, are the main focus.
