Full Job Description

Location: Hybrid – London Office

A financial services company, owned by a larger financial institution, is seeking a visionary and execution-driven Chief Technology Officer to join a newly formed Executive Leadership Team.

This newly created role reports directly to the CEO and will lead the technology and digital transformation strategy. The CTO will be responsible for building and delivering a best-in-class platform, driving operational excellence, and positioning the business at the forefront of digital innovation within financial services.

Key responsibilities:

1. Defining and executing a multi-year digital transformation and technology strategy.
2. Building and launching a next-generation client-facing finance platform.
3. Leading technology architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
4. Building and scaling high-performing internal product, data, and engineering teams.
5. Advising the CEO and Board on technology risk, innovation, and operational resilience.

Experience and characteristics:

1. Senior leadership experience as a CIO, CTO, CDO, or equivalent in financial services.
2. Track record of delivering large-scale digital and platform transformation programmes.
3. Deep understanding of cybersecurity, platforms, data architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
4. Outstanding leadership, stakeholder management, and supplier management skills.
