Role Overview

We are seeking a forward-thinking, AI-savvy Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our clients' technology vision, modernize their infrastructure, and drive scalable growth through intelligent automation. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with AI-native systems, strong architectural acumen, and a track record of leading lean, distributed tech teams in high-growth environments.

What You Will Do

AI-Forward Technology Leadership

• Drive the adoption and integration of AI tools to substitute or augment manual workflows
• Deliver production-ready AI/ML solutions or agent-based platforms
• Ensure our tech stack remains modern, flexible, and scalable

Technical Architecture & Infrastructure

• Oversee the evolution of the company’s product architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and security standards are met
• Establish best practices for technical governance and engineering excellence

Organisation & Team Design

• Assess and realign current engineering structure for scale, agility, and efficiency
• Embed systems thinking across people, processes, and platforms
• Lead remote or hybrid engineering teams with clarity and structure

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GDPR, Data Privacy, Accessibility, and BCP/DR
• Set up appropriate guardrails, frameworks, and operational policies

Cost & Vendor Management

• Evaluate technology spend, streamline vendor use, and ensure budget alignment with strategic priorities
• Champion ROI-driven decision-making and lean architecture principles

What You Need To Have

• 10+ years in technology leadership, including recent CTO or VP Engineering roles
• Demonstrated delivery of AI/automation solutions or agent-based platforms
• Experience in fast-scaling product/startup or SaaS environments
• Strong technical breadth with architectural depth in infrastructure, DevOps, and product systems
• Excellent communication skills; confident engaging with founder-level and board stakeholders
