We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized IT Asset Manager to join our regional operations team in London. This role will support TikTok’s global IT Asset Management strategy by overseeing the full lifecycle of IT assets across departments and business lines. You will help ensure all assets are tracked, cost-effective, audit-compliant, and optimized for operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT asset management within the region, implementing global asset management policies and processes.
- Ensure full lifecycle management of IT assets (hardware/software), from procurement and allocation to retirement and disposal.
- Monitor and control compliance with internal standards and external audit requirements.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of global SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for IT asset management.
- Coordinate asset inventory counts and ensure record accuracy through reconciliation and exception reporting.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards on asset usage, cost analysis, lifecycle status, and optimization strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams including procurement, engineering, audit, and compliance.
- Support the documentation and analysis of global user asset usage scenarios to enhance efficiency and cost transparency.
- Work with audit and compliance teams to meet internal and external audit standards.
- Deliver high-quality customer service to internal users, offering support on asset processes and troubleshooting issues when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; background in IT, information systems, or related technical field preferred.
- Solid understanding of IT systems, hardware/software lifecycle, and asset management tools.
- Experience in maintaining IT asset inventories, procurement workflows, and compliance reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate asset data into meaningful insights and business decisions.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to document processes clearly and support diverse user groups.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing); ability to communicate with global teams and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an international corporate environment or within a multinational IT organization.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level IT asset management systems or ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, JAMF, SCCM).
- Prior exposure to audit environments and understanding of IT compliance frameworks.
