Now, we're looking for a Steel Production Team Leader to join our day shift team and lead the steel manufacturing function

About the Role

We’re looking for a Steel Production Team Leader to manage our day shift operations. You’ll oversee the production of steel components including cutting, bending, welding and powder coating. This is a permanent, full-time role where you’ll lead a skilled team, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and drive continuous improvement.

Day shift hours: 5:15am – 3:45pm (Monday to Thursday)

What You'll Be Doing

• Overseeing daily operations in the steel department
• Leading and developing a motivated production team
• Ensuring workplace health and safety compliance
• Maintaining high standards in product quality and output
• Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives

What you’ll bring:

• We’re looking for a hands-on leader with a manufacturing background who excels at problem-solving and thrives in dynamic environments. You should have exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy. If you are someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, this is the role for you.
• Proven experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (steel industry experience a bonus)
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with lean methodologies and Epicor ERP is a plus – but not essential
• A practical, hands-on leadership style with a growth mindset

Comprehensive training will be provided by the current Production Manager.
