We are looking for reliable and dependable supplementary staff in the field of Registered Child Nursing, who are good team workers and able to provide a high standard of patient-centred care. All Staff Bank roles are to cover temporary shortages across NHS Tayside. Work is allocated on an "as and when required" basis with various shift patterns to suit flexible working. There are no guarantees of a fixed number of hours each week, as this is a demand-led service.
The staff bank centrally coordinates shifts for all nursing and midwifery services across NHS Tayside through an electronic booking system, allowing bank workers to view and book shifts via a computer or mobile device.
Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check than currently. If the role is assessed as a "regulated role," appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
