Are you a Business Analyst looking to move into a Product Owner role?

My client is looking for a Product Owner OR an experienced Business Analyst (BA) who is seeking to further their career as a Product Owner within an IT/Telecoms environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop functional designs via story elaboration and manage detailed implementation within the global product portfolio, based on stories assigned by Product Management aligned with the product roadmap.
• Execute detailed implementation following an agile model, working closely with offshore development teams to provide functional guidance, track progress, and ensure clear delivery assumptions.
• Collaborate with Product Management in customer discussions to define and present product functionalities.
• Contribute to functional analysis of Level 3 support issues, logged by customers or Professional Services teams, and implement bug fixes alongside roadmap-driven stories where necessary.

Experience required for the Product Owner role:

• 1-2 years experience as a Product Owner OR an experienced Business Analyst eager to transition into a Product Owner role.
• Ideally, some knowledge of telecoms or telecoms software.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on future strategy balanced with tactical delivery.
• Ability to make justified decisions considering multiple inputs.
• Ability to interpret code as a functional block.
• Experience working daily with offshore teams.
• Strong prioritization skills.
• Ability to slice functional units into deliverable segments.
