This is a Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity for 12 months to cover substantive post holders' maternity leave.

NHS Forth Valley offers an exciting opportunity for motivated pharmacists to develop their clinical skills within GP practices. You will help deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring optimal outcomes from medicines, and avoiding harm and waste.
You will join a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support workers delivering a respected Pharmacotherapy Service.
Applicants should have excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills to work effectively with clinical and non-clinical personnel and patients. Collaboration with hospital, community pharmacy, and care home colleagues is essential for seamless care.
While primary care experience is desirable, candidates from other sectors are encouraged to apply as full training will be provided. Newly qualified pharmacists in Scotland should be undertaking the NES Post-Registration Foundation Programme and be prepared to apply for an Independent Prescribing Course. Experienced pharmacists are expected to demonstrate competence in the RPS Core Advanced framework and support colleagues' development. Being an Independent Prescriber is desirable.
The primary location is Falkirk, with travel required throughout the service area.
