NHS Forth Valley has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking pharmacist to develop their clinical skills within GP practices. You will help deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and minimizing harm and waste.
You will join a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support workers delivering a valued Pharmacotherapy Service.
Experience in primary care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Candidates currently working in other sectors are encouraged to apply. Newly qualified pharmacists in Scotland should be undertaking the NES Post-Registration Foundation Programme and be prepared to apply for an Independent Prescribing Course. Experienced pharmacists should demonstrate competence in the RPS Core Advanced framework and support colleagues' development. An Independent Prescriber qualification is desirable.
Our priority location is Falkirk. Ability and willingness to travel within the service area are essential.
