Qualifications

  • Relevant formal qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering.
  • Previous Master Technician experience required.
  • Full valid manual UK driving license is necessary.

As a well-established and growing Motor Group, we are actively looking for experienced and talented Master Technicians to help us continue to deliver outstanding Customer Satisfaction.

Our Middleton dealership is currently on the lookout for an experienced Master Technician to join their team!

Minimum Requirements
  • Have a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) as a minimum, in Motor Vehicle Engineering, along with a Master Technician Qualification
  • Have previous Dealership Workshop experience

What Will You Be Doing?

You will spend most of your time in our workshop maintaining vehicles to the highest standards, conducting inspections, repairs, and services, and liaising with Service Advisors, Parts Consultants, and customers.

You will need to ensure all Vehicle Health Checks are completed and paperwork is accurate and up-to-date. You will be responsible for ensuring all jobs are completed within agreed timeframes and maintaining high productivity. Analysis, diagnostics, and road testing vehicles are also critical to exceeding customer expectations.

Other important aspects include:

  • Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge and compliance with manufacturer training requirements
  • Maintaining high efficiency (hours sold vs. hours attended)
  • Upholding company and manufacturer quality standards to meet customer expectations and minimize repeat repairs
  • Maintaining a high standard of work area, tools, and equipment, and complying with health and safety regulations

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 05:00 pm, with overtime available.

Who Are We Looking for?

The successful candidate will have:

  • A relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) as a minimum
  • Previous Master Technician experience and qualification
  • Experience in diagnostics and fault finding following relevant procedures
  • A full valid manual UK driving license
  • An understanding of delivering high standards of customer satisfaction
  • A positive, can-do attitude and team player mentality
  • Self-motivation
  • An awareness of health and safety in the workplace
