Sales Engineer UK - Westinghouse Electric Company Springfields

About the role:

As a Sales Engineer UK, you will be responsible for leading the overall capture strategy, offer development, and contract negotiation process for opportunities under $5M, including formal offers and budgetary estimates.

You will report to the Sr Director of Sales and be based at Springfields.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet sales targets by developing a sales pipeline aligned with company objectives, collaborating with accounts and products.
  • Achieve financial objectives such as Margin As-Sold, Order Entry, and pipeline growth.
  • Develop and maintain technical and sales knowledge to support the product portfolio within your segment.
  • Lead interface with the Customer Solution Manager from your segment.
  • Support the opportunity development process from identification to contract closure.
  • Update CRM weekly to manage the pipeline from bid/no-bid to contract award.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, understanding customer objectives and expectations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Westinghouse products and services.
  • Lead sales strategies and offer development for assigned products.
  • Identify commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies with support from legal, tax, finance, and support teams.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Understanding of Westinghouse roles, responsibilities, policies, and procedures.
  • Commercial acumen and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft D365, PowerBI, PRIME, SAP, and Adobe Pro.
  • Knowledge of nuclear utility buying practices.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
