Digital Trading Underwriter – Salary of Circa £30,000

We are currently looking for multiple Digital Trading Underwriters to join our Financial and Specialty Lines Digital Trading Team.

Due to our continued growth and team restructuring, we are seeking several Grade C underwriters with experience in digital or regional financial and specialty lines.

About the role:

Our team manages digitally traded business led by brokers, including Cyber, Management Liability, Professional Indemnity, Marine Cargo and Freight, Computers, Plant & Equipment, and Group Personal Accident. We focus on building strong broker relationships.

We need confident trading underwriters who can specialize in one line of business while understanding others, providing excellent broker/customer experience and technical underwriting support in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and experience required:

• Experience in one or more lines such as Cyber, Management Liability, Professional Indemnity, Marine Cargo and Freight, Computers, Plant & Equipment, or Group Personal Accident
• Strong customer service, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service and building broker relationships
• Decisive, proactive, with high learning agility
• Ability to work independently within authority and handle complex risks, with team collaboration skills
