Role Overview

A typical day involves dispensing, delivering services, managing your team, and delivering excellent service to all our customers. Every day is fast-paced and varied, so no one day is the same in an Asda pharmacy.

Our supermarket pharmacies offer a wide range of opening hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to ensure we are always there for our customers whenever they need us. Our pharmacists are a vital part of their local communities, helping to build strong relationships, providing expert care and advice, and supporting the most vulnerable members of society.

Our friendly pharmacies offer a range of frontline NHS services, including emergency prescriptions and Urgent Care. You will need to provide both NHS and Private services, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate empathy. Safety is paramount; therefore, strong leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team to motivate and support others are essential.

You will be fully supported by our in-store, regional, and home office teams in all aspects of your role, whether clinical or service-related. Regular feedback, business updates, and opportunities for further accreditation for additional services funded by Asda will be provided.

Rota:

Week 1:

• Mon 9am-6pm
• Wed 9am-9pm

Week 2:

• Mon 9am-6pm
• Wed 9am-9pm
• Fri 9am-9pm
• Sat 9am-9pm

About You

• You will be a fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• You will be accredited to deliver national and local services for NHS and private healthcare.
• You will be able to provide excellent customer and patient care.
• You possess drive and ambition to meet pharmacy business targets.
• You have proven leadership skills in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
