Senior Service Engineer for UPVC Aluminium Windows and Doors

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Business based in Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds, serving the Suffolk / Essex area.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role: Senior Site Service Engineer / Window Fitter

Due to expansion, we seek a Senior Site Service Engineer in our window department. The candidate should reside within the Suffolk/Essex area and be willing to travel across various sites. The role is ideal for an experienced window fitter familiar with fitting windows and doors in new build developments. A valid CSCS card and full UK driving license are essential. Basic hours are 37 per week, with an attractive remuneration package. A company van and phone will be provided.

Responsibilities: Site Service Engineer

• Perform remedial and repair works on windows and doors at live construction sites, ensuring safety and timeliness.
• Conduct initial site visits to identify and repair issues.
• Coordinate work schedules with the office and update the electronic diary system.
• Prepare and process client documentation for invoicing.
• Communicate with the office regarding parts and materials needed.
• Complete detailed reports of each visit.
• Perform additional duties as required, especially during quieter periods.
• Hold a valid full UK driving license; inform us of any pending points.
