Interim Management Accountant Opportunity

Location: Falmouth, Cornwall

Interim Accountant job in Cornwall

Rate: £250 - £350 per day depending on experience.
Hybrid working.

What You'll Do: As a Management Accountant, you'll be a key player in our finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. Your role will involve:

• Producing accurate and timely weekly and monthly management accounts and business KPI reporting.
• Generating weekly profit and loss reports, monthly reconciliations, and management information to meet deadlines.
• Preparing daily and weekly materials and labour variance reports.
• Supporting annual budget preparation and forecasting.
• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the standard costing system.

What You Will Need: We believe there's a right role for everyone and aim to set you up for success. For the Management Accountant role, we are looking for the following key skills and experience:

• Ideally CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Experience within a manufacturing business.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft software.
• Strong written reporting skills with experience in data analysis.

Contract Details:

• Type: Fixed-term contract for 9 months on a day rate basis.
• Pay Rate: £250 - £350 per day.
• Start Date: February 2025.
• Working Arrangement: Hybrid working with on-site parking available.
• Team: You'll be part of a finance team of four, reporting to the Financial Controller.
